In order to fairly accomodate all of our canine guests, we have set a few ground rules in place. 

Reservations ~

Reservations are mandatory. Space is limited and we ask that you reserve a spot 24 hours in advance. You are always welcome to call the morning of to see if we still have space for the day.

Late pick-ups ~

The Paw Zone closes promptly at 7:00 pm. Please arrive prior to closing so that we may sign you out. There is a $1.00 per minute late fee after 7:00 pm.

Health Requirements ~

All dogs must be current on vaccines (Rabies, DHPPC, Bordatella).  We welcome all dogs over the age of 4 months, however after the age of 9 months, all dogs must be spayed/neutered.  It is required for your dog to have a negative fecal exam within the last six months, as well as continuous and regular use of a flea/tick preventative. We also strongly urge you to keep your dog on a year-round heartworm preventative. We strongly recommend that your dog has a current Jefferson County license.   

What you will need for your dog's introduction:

1) Current Rabies

2) Current DHPPC

3) Current Bordatella

4) Negative Fecal Exam (within the last six months)

5) Spay/Neuter (for all dogs over 9 months old)

6) Proof of flea/tick prevantative (receipt of purchase)

Behavior ~

Please be aware that this is a doggie socialization & exercise  facility. We offer our socialization and exercise program as an extension of our obedience training. We believe that mental stimulation is the key to providing your dog with everything he/she needs in order to be a successful member of your family. Almost all unwanted canine behaviors come from boredom.  Your dog will be with other dogs in a social setting where we provide time for exercise. Your dog is required to be dog and people friendly. We will give your dog a personality accessment test durring their introduction, to see if they are able to be part of our program. We reserve the right to not allow a dog back into the group if we see behavior that is dangerous to others.

Puppies ~

All puppies must be at least 4 months old to enter the group. All vaccines must be current (Rabies, DHPPC, Bordatella). All puppies must be spayed or neutered by 9 months of age to enter the group.
